Most challenges you face are not inherent to the writing process itself, but stem from your fear; fear of taking risks; fear of trying new things; fear of failure; fear of [fill in the blank].
But when you ask, “How can I afford that?” or “What is it costing me to NOT do this?” your mind immediately searches for a solution to the problem because a question assumes there is an answer – that there MUST be a way – and your mind MUST find it.
The only road open for me so I can make the impact I know I was born for, is through the high mountain pass of daily self-improvement. I cannot make a positive change in my life when I’m lying to myself about what I’m doing today that must change.
